Download the penguin template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Trace your child’s hand on a piece of black paper and cut it out.

Position the handprint with the fingers down and the palm facing up. Begin to make the penguin by gluing the penguin’s body to the top of the palm.

Take the beak and glue it in between the eyes.

Color in the penguin's hat, then glue it to the top of the penguin's head.

Glue the iceberg blocks on the blue background paper.

Glue the penguin at the top of the iceberg block. It will look like the penguin is standing on the iceberg blocks.

Optionally: Finish up by gluing pom pom snowballs on the background paper.
