  • Paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Marker
  • Ruler
  • Pirate Template

Instructions

  • Download the template, print it, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Trace your child’s hand on paper, cut it out, and paint the fingers and a small part of the upper palm. This will be the pirate's beard.
  • Once dry, position the handprint with the fingers down and glue the paper eye onto the upper section of the handprint, on one side.
  • Then glue the eye patch on the other side, opposite the eye.
  • Use a black marker to draw the eye patch strap across the face.
  • Next, draw a simple smile using a black marker just below the eyes.
  • Glue the bandana piece above the eyes.
  • Grab the pirate hat and glue it above the bandana.
  • Take the skull piece and glue it to the center of the pirate hat.
