Our polar bear paper cup craft is a fantastic project that transforms an ordinary paper cup into an adorable Arctic friend. This craft is lots of fun to create while also offering a fantastic opportunity for kids to learn more about animals that thrive in cold climates.

Materials

  • Paper cups
  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Marker
  • Glue dots or double sided tape optional
  • Polar Bear Template

Instructions

  • Download the polar bear template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing the nose/mouth piece in the middle of the polar bear’s face, just below the eyes.

  • Use a light pink marker to draw the ears on both sides.
  • Position the cup with the rim facing down, then glue the belly to the bottom of the cup.

  • Finish up by gluing the completed polar bear head to the top of the paper cup.
