Instructions

  • Download the Statue of Liberty template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

  • Paint the popsicle sticks in a shade of blue-green. Let it dry completely before moving on.
  • Make the top of the Statue of Liberty by gluing the crown to the top of the bangs.
  • Take this piece and glue it to the top of the painted popsicle sticks.
  • Next, glue the eyes just below the bangs, one on each side.
  • Place the mouth near the bottom of the head, in the middle, and glue it down.
  • Position the teeth in the middle of the mouth and glue them in place.
  • Use a black marker to draw the nose just above the mouth.
  • Glue two of the hair pieces to each other, then glue the other two pieces together.
  • Flip over the Statue of Liberty head, then place glue on the ends of the horizontal popsicle sticks. Flip the hair over and glue the hair to the back.
