Materials
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Elmer’s Glue
- Shaving cream
- Paintbrush
- Fork
- Snow globe template
Instructions
- Make the homemade puffy paint by mixing equal parts shaving cream and Elmer's glue in a bowl. An 1/8 cup of each was more than enough to cover 2 snowglobes. You'll know it's the perfect consistency when it looks like marshmallow fluff.
- Download the snowglobe template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
- Start by gluing the star to the top of the tree.
- Next, glue the ornaments all over the tree.
- Finish up the tree by gluing the trunk to the bottom and back of the tree.
- Create the snow globe by gluing the bottom of the snow globe to the ball.
- Place the completed Christmas tree in the middle of the snowglobe ball and glue it in place.
- Take the puffy paint and paint a bunch of snow on the bottom of the snowglobe and snowflakes all around the snowglobe ball.
