Materials

  • Shaving cream
  • Liquid glue
  • Fork or craft stick for mixing
  • Paintbrush
  • Scissors
  • Colored cardstock
  • Snowman template

Instructions

  • Download the snowman template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • First, begin by making the puffy paint. It's simple to do - just mix equal parts of shaving cream and liquid glue into a bowl. Mix thoroughly.
  • Use a paintbrush to paint inside the lines of the snowman template. We like to really layer it on so the snowman is three-dimensional. Let it dry completely before gluing the pieces on.
  • Take the hat and glue it to the top of the head.
  • Place the eyes slightly below the hat and glue them in place.
  • Position the carrot nose in between and slightly below the eyes and glue it down.
  • Next, glue the mouth just below the eyes.
  • Take the scarf and glue it where the 2 snowballs meet. Don't push down too hard or you'll flatten your puffy paint.
  • Finish off the snowman by gluing the buttons to the middle of the snowman's body.
  • Cut off the bottom of the snowman template page.
