Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Marker
  • Rainbow With Pot of Gold Template

Instructions

  • Download the template, print it, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Glue the paper strips together to create a curved rainbow shape, starting with the thickest piece in the back and working down to the thinnest piece at the very front.
  • Glue the cloud pieces to both ends of the rainbow.
  • Assemble the pot by gluing the coin pieces to the top.
  • Glue the eyes onto the top of the pot.
  • Now, glue the oval cheek pieces near the outside and below the eyes.
  • Use a marker or paint pen to draw a mouth beneath the eyes, in the middle of the pot.
  • Optionally, draw eyelashes using a marker or pen.
  • Glue the finished pot of gold to the bottom and middle of the rainbow.
