Materials

  • Colored cardstock
  • Clothespins plain to paint or colored clothespins
  • Paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Giant pom pom 2"
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Reindeer template enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link emailed to you

Instructions

  • Download the reindeer template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Glue the pink inner ears to both of the reindeer's ears.
  • Place the mouth at the bottom of the reindeer's head and glue in place.
  • Glue the nose in place just above the smile line. You can use a paper nose or a giant pom pom. If you're using the pom pom, we suggest securing it with a glue dot. Simply stretch it out on the paper, then push the pom into it to secure. It's much easier to use a glue dot over liquid glue and it's more durable.
  • If you're using plain clothespins, paint the entire surface dark brown. Acrylic paint dries quickly so you can wait until one side is mostly dry then let if fully dry on the opposite side. Repeat for both clothespins
  • Open up the clothespins and attach them to the top of the head, in between the ears.
