Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Reindeer template

Instructions

  • Download the reindeer template, print, and cut out the pieces.
  • Begin to make the reindeer by gluing the mouth piece to the reindeer's head. Next, glue the eyes just below the eyebrows.
  • Take the nose and glue it just above the mouth in the middle.
  • Finish off the head by gluing the antlers to the top and back of the reindeer's head.
  • Glue the completed reindeer head onto a piece of red paper and cut it out so it has a border surrounding it.
  • Grab a blank red piece of paper and glue the writing prompt to the paper. Off-center it so there is more room at the top of the paper so you can glue the reindeer there.
  • Take the reindeer's head and backing and glue it to the top of the writing prompt paper.
  • Make the reindeer's legs by gluing the hooves to the end of the legs.
  • Next, take the hooves and glue them on either side of the reindeer's head so it looks like it's holding the paper.
  • Finish off by completing the writing prompt!
