Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Markers
  • Gnome template

Instructions

  • Download the gnome template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing the face to the top and middle of the beard piece.
  • Take the eyes and glue them on the face, almost near the bottom.
  • Glue the nose in between the eyes and the mouth, in the middle.
  • Now, glue the antlers in the middle of the hat, about 1" from the bottom of the hat.
  • Next, glue the hat band to the bottom of the hat. Use a dark brown marker to draw spots on the top of the hat.
  • Create the ears by gluing the inner ear to the middle of the outer ears. Then glue the completed ears to back of the hat, so there is one on each side.
  • Place the completed hat on top of the gnome's head and glue it in place.
  • Position the gnome's body on the back of the gnome's head and glue it down.
  • Next, glue the feet to the bottom of the body.
  • Now, glue it in the middle of the body. Use a marker to draw on the top of the ornament.
  • Finish up by gluing the hands to each side of the ornament, so it looks like the gnome is holding the ornament.
