Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Pom pom optional
  • Santa template

Instructions

  • Download the Santa template, print, and cut out the pieces you need. Trace your child’s hand two times onto white cardstock and cut them out.
  • Begin to create Santa's hat by gluing the pom pom to the pointed end of his hat.
  • Take the hat fluff piece and glue it to the bottom of Santa's hat.
  • Place Santa's eyebrows above each of the eyes (or near the top of the head if using the face without printed eyes) and glue them in place.
  • Next, glue Santa's beard to the bottom of his face.
  • Glue his hat to the top of his head.
  • Position the handprints, one on each side, with the fingers pointing downward and at a slight angle outward, and glue them just below his eyes.
  • Finish off by gluing on the pom pom or paper nose on top of the handprints, in the middle of Santa's face.
