Materials
- White paper
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Pink marker
- Crayons or markers if using the coloring page version
- Scarecrow template
Instructions
- Download the scarecrow template, print, and cut out the pieces you need. If you're using the color in version, color it first, then cut it out.
- Create the scarecrow by gluing the nose in the middle of the face, above the mouth.
- Use a pink marker to draw cheeks just above the ends of the mouth.
- Next, glue the eyes, one on each side of the face above the nose.
- Take the hair pieces and glue them on each side of the head.
- Finish off the scarecrow by gluing the hat to the top of the head.
- Glue the completed scarecrow head just above the writing prompt.
- Place the scarecrow head and writing prompt on a fall colored piece of paper and glue it in the middle.
- Now let the kids finish the writing prompt!
