Download the scarecrow template, print, and cut out the pieces you need. If you're using the color in version, color it first, then cut it out.

Create the scarecrow by gluing the nose in the middle of the face, above the mouth.

Use a pink marker to draw cheeks just above the ends of the mouth.

Next, glue the eyes, one on each side of the face above the nose.

Take the hair pieces and glue them on each side of the head.

Finish off the scarecrow by gluing the hat to the top of the head.

Glue the completed scarecrow head just above the writing prompt.

Place the scarecrow head and writing prompt on a fall colored piece of paper and glue it in the middle.

Now let the kids finish the writing prompt!
