Materials
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Markers
- Scarecrow dog template
Instructions
- Download the dog template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
- Begin by gluing the eyes, one on each side, above the nose.
- Glue the ears to the front of both sides of the head.
- Finish the hat by gluing the patch to the middle and then using a marker to draw on the stitch marks.
- Next, glue the straw for the hat pieces to the back and sides of the hat.
- Place the hat on the top of the head and glue it to the top of the dog's head.
- Take the neck straw piece and glue it to the back and bottom of the head.
- Position the shirt on the top of the dog's body piece and glue it in place. Glue a patch in the middle of the shirt and use a marker to draw the stitch marks around it.
- Next, glue the leg straw to the bottom of the shirt, on top of the legs.
- Place the dog's head on the top of the shirt and glue it in place.
- Finish up by gluing the tail to the bottom and back of the dog's body.
