Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Green pipe cleaners
  • Tape
  • Glue
  • Shamrock template

Instructions

  • Download the shamrock template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing the eyes just above the mouth.
  • Next, Get a full-length green pipe cleaner and bend the bottom of one end to make a round foot shape. Wrap the wire around the end to keep that foot secure. Repeat the process for the other foot.
  • Now, flip the shamrock base over and tape the two feet pipe cleaners to the back of the shamrock.
  • Cut the third pipe cleaner in half and twist the end of one side into a 3-fingered hand. Repeat the process on the other side to create another hand.
  • Finish off by taping the arms, one on each side, near the middle of the shamrock base on the backside.
  • Bend the arms and legs into the shape you want.
