Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Black marker
  • Scarecrow template

Instructions

  • Download the scarecrow template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing the eyes in the middle of the circle head, one on each side.
  • Take the triangle nose and glue it between and slightly below the eyes.
  • Glue the cheeks on either side of the nose or use a pink marker to draw them on.
  • Use a black marker to draw on the scarecrow's mouth below the nose.
  • Create the scarecrow's hair by gluing 3 of the long triangle hair pieces together. Repeat for the other side.
  • Next, glue the hair on either side of the face, above the eyes. Take the small top hair pieces and glue them just above the eyes.
  • Glue the triangle hat to the top of the scarecrow's head.
  • Finish it off by gluing the patch to the hat, then use the black marker to draw on the stitch marks.
