Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Markers
  • Shark template

Instructions

  • Download the shark template, print, and cut out the pieces.
  • Begin by gluing the belly to the lower portion of the shark’s body, from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail.

  • Glue the eye below the eyebrow.
  • Take the completed shark and glue it onto a vertically positioned piece of blue paper.

  • Arrange the shark letters below the shark to spell out the child’s name and glue them in place.
  • Finish up by drawing squiggly lines all along the blue paper so it looks like water.
