This stocking name craft is great for kids learning to spell their names, or for kids that like to personalize their crafts.

Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Markers
  • Stickers optional
  • Stocking template

Instructions

  • Download the stocking template, print, and cut out the pieces.
  • Begin by gluing the toe patch to the toe portion of the stocking. Then take the heel patch and glue it to the heel portion of the stocking.

  • Take the top decoration and glue it to the top of the stocking. Glue this stocking top to a blank piece of cardstock.
  • Arrange the stocking letter pieces underneath the top part of it to spell the child's name, then glue them in place.

  • Next, glue the bottom portion of the stocking to the end of the name.
  • Write the child's name at the top of the stocking. Optionally, decorate the stocking with stickers or other embellishments.
