Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Markers
  • Thankful goose template

Instructions

  • Print the template and gather the materials for this fun activity.
  • Begin by gluing the bill onto the center of the goose's face.
  • Look for the eye pieces and glue each above the bill.
  • Glue the hat piece onto the top of the goose's head, just above the eyes.
  • Take the hat band piece and glue it across the lower part of the hat.
  • Glue the buckle onto the center of the hat band.
  • Choose a sign and glue it onto the lower part of the goose's body. If using the gratitude sign, write something to be thankful for.
  • Glue the arms over the left and right edges of the sign so the goose looks like it's holding it.
  • Gue the collar on the goose's neck, overlapping the top edge of the sign.
  • Glue the feet pieces to the back and bottom of the goose's body.
  • Finally, use a marker to add rosy cheeks on both sides of the bill.
