Materials

  • Tissue paper squares
  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Bee template

Instructions

  • Download the bee template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin to make the bee by spreading glue over a small section of the bee's outline.
  • Glue the tissue paper squares along the glue. Repeat for each section, until the entire bee's body is covered in tissue paper.
  • Create the mouth by gluing the tongue to the bottom of the mouth, then glue the completed mouth in the middle of the bee's body, just above the top stripe.
  • Next, glue the eyes, one on each side of the bee's head, above the mouth.
  • Take the cheeks and glue them on both sides of the mouth.
  • Finish off by trimming off the bottom part of the paper, along the dotted line.
