Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Tissue paper squares
  • Glue stick
  • Scissors
  • Polar bear template

Instructions

  • Download the polar bear template and print it out.
  • Use the glue stick to fill in a large section of the polar bear's head. Take white tissue paper squares, crinkle them, and place them all over the glue until the head is complete.
  • Next, glue colored tissue paper squares all over the polar bear's scarf.
  • Take the polar bear's mouth and nose and glue them in the middle of the head, just above the scarf.
  • Place the eyes above the nose and glue them onto the tissue paper.
  • Position the pink inner ears on each ear and glue them down.
  • Create the polar bear's winter hat by gluing the base to the front and bottom of the beanie, then glue the pom to the top and the back of the beanie.
  • Finish by gluing the completed hat to the top of the polar bear's head.
