Materials

  • Colored cardstock for background paper
  • Construction paper for tearing & gluing onto background paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Marker

Instructions

  • Download the template, print it, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by tearing green paper into small pieces and gluing them onto the tree outline.
  • Next, tear brown paper into small pieces and glue them onto the trunk.
  • Now, glue the eyes in the middle section of the tree.
  • Place the mouth piece just beneath the eyes and glue it centered on the tree.
  • Next, glue the tongue cutout onto the bottom of the mouth piece.
  • Glue the star to the very top point of the tree.
  • Now, glue the small ornament circles all over the tree.
  • Finally, draw on the eyebrows to add definition and complete the character.
