This torn paper gingerbread craft is a fantastic way for kids to express their creativity and practice fine motor skills.

Download the gingerbread template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
Begin by spreading glue over a whole section of gingerbread background paper.
Next, start tearing different shades of brown paper into small pieces. Then, begin gluing them on all parts of the gingerbread’s body. Repeat until the entire body is covered.
Now, create the gingerbread boy by gluing the bowtie to his neck. If you're making a gingerbread girl, you'll need to color the sprinkles on the icing hair, glue the icing hair on first, and then glue the bow to the icing.
Place the gingerbread’s mouth just above the gingerbread's neck.
Glue both eyes just above the mouth.
For gingerbread boys, use markers to draw sprinkles on the hair. Then glue the hair to the top of the gingerbread’s head.
Position the buttons in the middle of the gingerbread’s body and glue them down.
Finish by gluing the icing decorations on the arms and legs.
