Materials

  • Colored cardstock
  • Construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Marker
  • Groundhog Template

Instructions

  • Download the Groundhog template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by spreading glue over a whole section of the groundhog background paper.

  • Next, start tearing the brown paper into small pieces. Then, begin by gluing them on all parts of the groundhog’s body.
  • Glue the inner ears to both of the outer ears.
  • Attach the dirt to the bottom of the groundhog using glue.

  • Place the groundhog nose in the center of the head and glue it down.
  • Next, glue both eyes just above the nose.
  • Using the black marker, draw the nose wrinkles, and mouth of the groundhog.

  • Glue the teeth just below the nose.
  • Finish up by drawing a smile line on the top of the teeth.
