Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Reindeer template

Instructions

  • Download the reindeer template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by spreading glue over a large section of the upper part of the reindeer background paper.
  • Next, start tearing different shades of brown paper into small pieces. Separate the papers into three piles: one for light brown, one for cream, and one for dark brown.
  • Start gluing the dark brown torn paper pieces onto the antler sections.
  • Now, use the light brown pieces to fill in the entire upper part of the reindeer.
  • Use the cream paper pieces to fill in the entire lower part of the reindeer.
  • Take the eyes and glue them, one on each side of the reindeer, a little below the antlers.
  • Glue the eyebrows above both eyes.
  • Place the nose in between and slightly on the bottom part of the eyes, and glue them in place.
  • Position the mouth slightly below the nose and glue it down.
  • Glue the tongue to the bottom of the mouth.
  • Finish up by gluing the cheeks on both sides of the reindeer's mouth.
