Turkey Card Craft For Kids

Kids can create a craft project that’s as fun as it is meaningful with this turkey card craft. On the inside of the card, kids can write what they’re thankful for or even send a loved one a holiday greeting!

Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Turkey card template

Instructions

  • Download the turkey template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Fold the card base along the dashed line, then cut it out. Be sure to leave the top fold uncut so your card opens and closes.
  • Begin by gluing the eyes just below the eyebrows.
  • Next, glue the turkey body to the front and bottom of the head, just below the eyes.
  • Glue the snood to the top of the body piece.
  • Place the beak on top of the snood and glue it down.
  • Next, glue the wings on both sides of the body.
  • Attach the body to the middle of the feathers using glue.
  • Finish up by letting the kids write a special message on the inside!
