Materials
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Turtle template
Instructions
- Download the turtle template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
- Begin to make the turtle's head by gluing the eyes just above and outside the mouth.
- Place the cheeks just below the eyes and glue them in place.
- Finish off the head by gluing the spots to the top of the head, in between the eyes.
- Make the turtle shell by gluing the spots all around the shell.
- Take the shell and glue it to the back of the headband base so about 2" are above the head.
- Tape a headband extender to each end of the headband base.
