Download the apple template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Place the apple template on the cardboard, trace it, and cut it out. Paint the apple in 1-2 thin coats of green or red paint. Let dry completely before moving on.

Begin by gluing the stem to the top and back of the apple shape.

Next, tape one end of the yarn to the back of the apple.

Wrap the yarn around the apple in all directions as much or as little as you want.

When you’re done, tape the other end of the yarn to the back of the apple and cut off the yarn.

Flip the apple to the front side and glue the eyes near the top of the apple.

Create the apple’s mouth by gluing the tongue to the mouth. Trim off any excess paper.

Finish off by gluing the mouth in the middle of the apple, just below the mouth.
