Paper Plate Killer Whale Craft

Kids will have a blast learning about orcas and then making this paper plate killer whale craft.

Materials

– Paper plate – Black paint – Paintbrush – Black and white cardstock or   construction paper – Scissors – Pencil – Glue – Tape – Orca template

Instructions

1. Download the Killer Whale template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

2. Paint a paper plate in 1-2 thin coats of black paint. Let dry completely before moving on.

3. Place the Killer Whale body template on the black paper plate, trace, and cut it out.

4. Begin to create the whale by gluing the tail fluke to the left end and backside of the paper plate.

5. Next, glue the Orca belly to the bottom of the whale. Trim off any excess paper that hangs off the paper plate.
