Popsicle Stick Groundhog Craft

Groundhog’s Day is a fun day to celebrate when you have kids! To help you do that, we’ve created this popsicle stick groundhog craft to go along with the special day.

Materials

– Popsicle sticks – Brown paint – Paintbrush – Glue dots (permanent) or      hot glue – Cardstock – Black marker – Glue stick – Groundhog template

1. Download the free horse template, print and cut out the pieces.

Instructions

1. Download the groundhog template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

2. Cut a popsicle stick into thirds with the scissors. Line up 4 popsicle sticks evenly. Stretch out three glue dots to go onto the back of the cut up popsicle stick. 

3. Flip the popsicle sticks over and paint it in 1-2 thin coats of brown paint. Let dry completely before moving on.

4. Glue the groundhog eyes towards the top of the popsicle sticks.

5. Use the black marker to draw on the groundhog's nose and mouth, then glue the teeth below the mouth line.
