Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Bee template

Instructions

  • Download the free template, edit it with your child's name, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Start by gluing the eyes below each of the eyebrows.

  • Take the stripes and glue them underneath the mouth. Trim off any excess that hangs off the sides.
  • Next, glue the stinger to the back and bottom of the bee's body.
  • Place the antennae at the top of the head and glue them to the back of the bee.

  • Position the wings on the sides of the bee's body and glue them to the back.
  • Next, take the completed bee to the middle and top of a blank piece of paper.

  • Finish up by gluing the honeycomb letters along the bottom of the bee, spelling out the child's name.
