Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • White Paint Pen, Crayola Bold & Bright White Marker, or snowflake stickers
  • Markers
  • White Pom Poms optional
  • Elf Name Template

Instructions

  • Download the template, print it, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Start by gluing the eyes onto the elf’s head.
  • Then, glue the hair on the elf’s head.
  • Next, use markers to add details such as cheeks and eyebrows.
  • After that, glue the hat to the top of the elf’s head.
  • Place the hat band across the middle of the hat and glue it down.
  • Then, glue the feather to the back and side of the hat.
  • Glue the collar to the back and bottom of the head.
  • Next, glue the coat behind the collar.
  • Add the belt buckle to the middle of the belt and glue it in place.
  • Prepare the snow globe by gluing the snow piece to the bottom of the snow globe base.
  • Then, glue the completed elf onto the snow.
  • Arrange the letters that spell the child’s name by the bottom of the elf and glue them in place.
  • Use a marker, white paint pen, or snowflake stickers to create stickers around the snow globe.
  • Optionally, finish by gluing pom poms around the snow globe for extra decoration.
