Materials
- Jumbo popsicle stick
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Markers or crayons if using the color in version
- Tape
- Butterfly template
Instructions
- Download the butterfly template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
- Place the butterfly's body in the middle of the wings and glue it in place.
- Glue the eyes in the middle of the head with part of the outside portion hanging off the head.
- Create the butterfly wing decorations by gluing the smaller ovals to the bottom of the bigger ovals, then use scissors to trim off the excess paper.
- Position the wing decorations on the wings and glue them in place.
- Take the antennae and glue them to the back of the head.
- Flip the butterfly over and place the jumbo popsicle stick on the back and tape it in place.
