  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Tape
  • Double sided tape optional
  • Butterfly template

Instructions

  • Download the butterfly template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

  • Take the other side of the body and place another strip of tape on it.
  • Wrap it around the cardboard tube and tape it in place.
  • Fold the inner part of the butterfly wings over. This is where you'll put the double-sided tape or glue.
  • Take the tear drop shaped butterfly wing decoration and glue it to the top part of both wings.
  • Position the smaller tear drop shaped butterfly wing decoration to the bottom of the wings and glue them in place.
  • Tape or glue the completed wings to the side of the butterfly's body.
  • Next, glue the antennae to the top and back of the butterfly head.
  • Finish up by placing glue on the middle of the butterfly head and glue it to the top of the butterfly body.
