Dinosaur Handprint Card Craft

Materials

  • Colored card stock
  • White card stock
  • Glue stick this one is best
  • Pencil
  • Black marker
  • Dinosaur template download form located at the end of the page
  • Googly eyes optional; use in place of paper eyes

Instructions

  • Download the dinosaur handprint template, print and cut out the pieces.
  • Fold a piece of colored paper in half and place your child's hand on the paper with the thumb or pinky along the fold line. Trace the handprint and cut out, leaving the fold line intact.
  • Place the dinosaur's muzzle towards the bottom of the face piece and glue in place.
  • Use the black marker to draw on the nose holes and mouth.
  • Glue the middle horn directly above the muzzle piece.
  • Place the paper or googly eyes on either side of the middle horn.
  • Position the other two horns on each side of the head. Glue to the back.
  • Take the completed triceratops head and glue it to the handprint card. Make sure the fold line is on the left so the card opens properly.
