D Is For Dinosaur Unit
We love the idea of making this handprint dinosaur craft when learning about dinosaurs.
If you’re doing homeschool preschool or pre k, you can create a D is for dinosaurs unit.
Begin reinforcing the letter D with some easy dinosaur do a dot printables. All you need to do is print them off and grab your favorite dot markers. Each page comes with directions and is easy to understand for preschoolers.
After some fun worksheets, you could pick one or two dinosaur books to read with the kids. Pick ones that teach about dinosaurs or just go with fun story-based books. Either way, it’ll help your children learn!
If you’d like to add a STEM aspect to your dinosaur unit, kids will love exploring baking soda and vinegar reactions with these fizzy dinosaur eggs! They’ll need to be made ahead of time, but the kids will love them!
After a STEM activity, why not do a fun dinosaur sensory bin like this? Or try these dinosaur I Spy printables.
Once you’ve done all that, finish it up with this handprint triceratops craft!
