Directions
Start by printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this walrus to life!

Look for the eyes and glue them onto the head, just below both eyebrows.

Find the two mouth area pieces and overlap them slightly in the center. Add glue to secure them together, creating the walrus snout.

Grab the nose piece and glue it right to the middle and top of the mouth area.

Now, find the two tusks and glue them behind the mouth area so the points hang down.

Add glue to the back of the finished mouth area and place it on the lower half of the head, just under the eyes.

Take the body piece and lay it flat on your table. Add glue to the bottom of the head and press it onto the top of the body. Look at that, your walrus is really starting to come to life now!

Glue the legs to each side of the body.

Now, find the flippers and glue one at the bottom of each leg. You’re done!
Take a moment to chat with your child about how walruses use their flippers to swim through the water, balance their big bodies, and even scoot along the ice.
