They can color the fish however their imaginations see fit. While they’re having fun, they’ll also be sharpening important skills like cutting, gluing, and following instructions.
To simplify it, we’ve provided a free template to get you started! You only need a few basic supplies for kids to make their own polar bear masterpiece.
Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Polar bear & fish template (unlock the image at the end of the post to go to the download page)

Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this polar bear to life!

First, guide your child to glue the nose and mouth below the eyes.

Next, glue the inner ears in the center of the outer ears.

Glue the cheeks below the eyes.

Position the feet on the bottom portion of the polar bear and glue them in place.

Now, help your child to glue the fish to the center of the polar bear’s body.

Finally, encourage your child to glue the hands to the top and sides of the fish.
