To go on this crafty Antarctic expedition, you’ll need some colorful sheets of paper, glue, and our free penguin template. With the template as their guide, each ripped piece of paper becomes a step closer to your kids making a penguin masterpiece.

Download the penguin template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Begin by spreading glue over a whole section of penguin background paper.

Next, start tearing the black paper into small pieces. Then, begin gluing them on all parts of the penguin’s body.

Take the eyes and glue them at the top of the penguin’s body.

Place the beak in between and slightly below the eyes and glue it in place.

Glue the belly to the middle and bottom of the penguin’s body.

Finish up by gluing the feet to the bottom of the penguin’s body.
