Dinosaur Father’s Day Card Craft [Free Template]

Dino-Mite Father’s Day Card

Supplies

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Dinosaur template (click the “click here to get this freebie” image at the end to open the form)

Directions

Start by downloading the dinosaur template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this dinosaur card to life!

First, fold the dinosaur head printable in half along the dashed line and cut it out, leaving the top uncut. Encourage your child to glue the head to the top and front of the dinosaur’s body.

Next, help your child take the eyes and glue them just to the left of the nostrils.

Now, place the spines behind the head and body, and glue them on the left side of the dinosaur.

Guide your child to take the arms and glue one in the front and middle of the body, while the other goes to the back and right-hand side of the body.

Finally, open up the card and write a special message inside!

Show Dad some dino-mite love this Father's Day with this homemade dinosaur Father's Day card from the kids.

Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Dinosaur template

Instructions

  1. Download the dinosaur template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  2. Fold the dinosaur head printable in half along the dashed line and cut it out, leaving the top uncut.
  3. Glue the head to the top and front of the dinosaur's body.
  4. Take the eyes and glue them just to the left of the nostrils.
  5. Place the spines behind the head and body and glue them on the left side of the dinosaur.
  6. Next, take the arms and glue one in the front and middle of the body and the other one to the back and right-hand side of the body.
  7. Open up the card and write a special message inside!
