It’s that time of year again: Christmas is coming! And kids are busy getting ready.
They’re making lists and checking them twice, hanging stockings by the chimney with care, and dreaming about what gifts might be waiting underneath the tree when they wake up on the morning of December 25th.

Gingerbread Mermaid Craft

Print the template, cut out the pieces, and glue together your creation. This is a creative disguise a gingerbread man craft that your little kiddos are going to love!

Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- White gel marker or whiteout pen (optional)

Directions
Start by downloading the template and printing it out. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this mermaid to life!
First, guide your child to glue the eyes on either side of the eyes, just above the smile.
Next, help your child to glue the seashells in the chest area of the gingerbread body.
Position the bangs on top of the head and glue them in place.
Take the hair and glue it to the back of the mermaid’s head.
Place the mermaid tail slightly below the seashells and glue it in place.
Finally, encourage your child to draw icing decorations on the ends of the arm and a belly button above the mermaid tail.
