Directions

Start by downloading the dinosaur template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this dinosaur template to life!

First, guide your child to glue the eyes just below the eyebrows.

Next, help your little artist glue the mouth at the bottom of the eyes, slightly overlapping both eyes.

Now, guide your child to glue the foot pads to the center of the feet.

Position the cup with the rim facing down, then glue the belly to the bottom of the cup.

Attach the feet to both sides of the belly with double-sided tape or glue.

Now, guide your child to attach the arms above the feet.

Next, tape or glue the head to the top of the paper cup.

Materials

  • Paper cup
  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Glue or double sidede tape
  • Scissors
  • Dinosaur template

Instructions

  1. Download the dinosaur template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  2. Begin by gluing the eyes just below the eyebrows.
  3. Glue the mouth at the bottom of the eyes, slightly overlapping both eyes.
  4. Next, tape or glue the foot pads to the center of the feet.
  5. Position the cup with the rim facing down, then glue the belly to the bottom of the cup.
  6. Attach the feet to both sides of the belly and tape or glue it in place.
  7. Tape or glue the arms above the feet.
  8. Next, tape or glue the head to the top of the paper cup.
  9. Finish up by folding a small piece of the opposite end of the tail, and glue it to the side of the paper cup.
