Dinosaur Headband Craft For Kids [Free Template]

Dinosaurs are one of the most popular topics when it comes to kids. They’re fascinated by these prehistoric creatures and love learning all about them.

Easy Dinosaur Craft

Supplies

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Tape
  • Crayons, markers, or paint (if using the color in version)
  • Dinosaur headband template (enter your email in the form at the end of the post to have the link sent to you)

Directions

Download the dinosaur template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Begin by gluing the nose and mouth piece to the bottom and middle of the headband base, just above the head line.

Glue the middle horn just above the nose, in the middle.

Next, take the eyes and glue them on either side of middle horn.

Place the cheeks slightly below the eyes on either side and glue them in place.

Position the bony frill to the back and middle of the headband base.

Glue the two horns near the top of the dinosaur’s head.

Optionally: Use a marker to draw on eyebrows just above the eyes.

Finish by taping a headband extender to each end of the headband base.
