Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Tape
  • Crayons markers, or paint (if using the color in version)
  • Dinosaur headband template

Instructions

  • Download the dinosaur template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing the nose and mouth piece to the bottom and middle of the headband base, just above the head line.

  • Glue the middle horn just above the nose, in the middle.
  • Next, take the eyes and glue them on either side of the middle horn.

  • Place the cheeks slightly below the eyes on either side and glue them in place.
  • Position the bony frill to the back and middle of the headband base.
  • Glue the two horns near the top of the dinosaur’s head.

  • Optionally: Use a marker to draw on eyebrows just above the eyes.
  • Finish by taping a headband extender to each end of the headband base.
