Directions
Start by downloading the template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this DIY to life!
First, encourage your child to glue the eyes to the middle of the goggles. Use a brown marker to color the iris and a black marker to outline the brown eyes.
Next, guide your child to glue the goggle strap (the black strip) to the middle of the head. Trim off any paper that hangs off the sides.
Now, glue the completed goggles over the strap.
Draw a smile on the minion’s face or glue on the open mouth, just below the eyes.
Create the minion’s body by gluing the overalls onto the yellow body piece.
Place the pocket in the middle and upper part of the overalls and glue it in place.
Use a black marker to draw small black buttons where the overall straps and top of the overalls meet.
Take the completed body and glue it to the main portion of the brown paper bag. Trim off the excess brown paper bag.
Help your child to glue the completed head to the flap portion of the brown paper bag.
Finally, cut out some thin strips of black paper and tape them to the top and back of the head so it looks like the minion’s silly hair.
