Dinosaur Toilet Paper Roll Craft For Kids [Free Template]

Directions

Download the dinosaur template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Start by gluing the spots all over the dinosaur’s body piece.

Place a piece of tape on one side of the body piece, attach it to the cardboard tube, and wrap it around. Use a second piece of tape to secure the other end of the tube.

Next, take the eye and glue it to the dinosaur’s head, just to the left of the mouth.

Add a few spots to the dinosaur’s neck.

Take the dinosaur’s head bony plates, fold them along the dashed line, put glue on it, and glue it to the top of the dinosaur’s neck.

Fold the dinosaur’s neck piece along the dashed lines, place glue on it, and glue it to the right side of the cardboard tube.

Next, fold the dinosaur’s body bony plates piece, put some glue on it, and glue it to the toilet roll, behind the dino’s neck.

Glue a spot onto the dinosaur’s tail, trim off the excess, and place glue on the folded part.

Place the dinosaur tail inside the left part of the toilet paper tube and glue it in place.

Finish up by folding the legs along the dashed lines. Put glue in the middle portion of the legs and glue them to the bottom of the dinosaur’s body.

With our dinosaur toilet paper roll craft, kids will transform a recycled toilet paper roll into a cute dinosaur!

Materials

  • Toilet paper rolls or new cardboard tubes
  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Markers
  • Tape
  • Dinosaur template

Instructions
