This Easter bible craft is a simple hands-on activity where kids create an angel pointing to the empty tomb and share the joyful message, “He is risen; he is not here.”

Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Markers or Crayons
  • Easter Bible Template

Instructions

  • Print the template and gather the materials for this fun activity.
  • Begin by letting kids color the angel, then cut out all the template pieces.
  • Take the sun piece and glue it to the center of the background paper.
  • Glue the hill piece to the bottom of the page, slightly overlapping the sun.
  • Glue the empty tomb piece along the top right edge of the hill.
  • Look for the stone piece, glue it slightly to the left of the tomb opening.
  • Glue the angel onto the left side of the background, beside the hill and slightly overlapping the stone.
  • Finally, glue the speech bubble above the hill at the top right hand side of the angel.
