The holidays just got a little more magical with this Elf on the Shelf Name Craft, where kids create a festive wreath featuring their elf and personalize it with ornaments that spell their name.

Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Markers
  • Pom Poms
  • Elf on the Shelf Template

Instructions

  • Download the template, print it, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • First, glue the wreath circle in the center of the wreath base.
  • Next, color in the eyes and glue them under the eyebrows.
  • Use a marker to draw the nose below the eyes.
  • Glue the hair along the top of the elf's head.
  • Next, glue the hat on the top of the hair.
  • Take the hand band and glue it along the bottom edge of the hat.
  • Now, glue the collar directly under the elf's chin.
  • Glue the body piece below the collar.
  • Once the elf is assembled, glue it onto the bottom of the white wreath circle.
  • Arrange the ornament letters on the bottom of the wreath to spell the child’s name and glue them in place.
  • Next, use a pen or marker to draw hooks and strings above each ornament circle.
  • Finally, glue pom poms around the wreath to decorate it.
