Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this elf on the shelf to life!

Look for the wreath piece and the white wreath circle from your template. Add a little glue on the back of the white circle and help your child press it right into the center.

Now, grab the elf’s head and the eyes. Glue the eye pieces just below the eyebrows.

Use a pink marker and help your child draw and color the nose right below the eyes.

Next, let’s decorate the elf’s head! Look for the hair piece and glue it along the top of the elf’s head. The hair instantly gives your elf its personality.

Now your elf needs a festive hat! Find the hat piece and glue it right on the top of the hair.

After that, glue the hat band piece onto the bottom edge of the hat.

Find the collar piece, and glue it right under the elf’s chin.

Next up is the body. Glue the red body piece to the back and bottom of the collar. Watch how your elf begins to look complete!

It is time to bring everything together! Grab your finished elf and glue it onto the bottom of the white circle.

Look for the ornament letters and spell your child’s name! Help them glue each one in order along the bottom of the wreath. It is a fun way to practice spelling while making the craft feel extra personal and special.

Grab a black marker and draw little hooks or strings above each ornament. Suddenly, the ornaments look like they are hanging from the wreath.

Let’s decorate the wreath! Use small pom poms and glue them all around the wreath. Encourage your child to choose their favorite colors. This is a wonderful fine motor activity and makes the wreath look festive and fluffy.
