Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Crayola Bold & Brighter markers
  • Father's Day Grill Template

Instructions

  • Print the template and gather the materials for this fun activity.
  • Begin by gluing the grate piece along the top edge of the grill base.
  • Glue the hamburger patty pieces onto the grate.
  • Glue the eye pieces just below the grate, centering them on the grill.
  • Use a white marker to draw a smiling mouth under the eyes.
  • Add cheeks on each side of the face with a pink marker.
  • Glue the hinge piece to the back of the grill, right above the grate.
  • Glue the lid piece that says “Dad, you’re GRATE!” to the hinge.
  • Look for the leg pieces and glue them to the bottom and back of the grill base.
  • Glue one wheel piece to the bottom of each leg.
  • Use a white marker to add small circles in the middle of each wheel.
