Materials
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Markers
- Gingerbread house template
Instructions
- Download the gingerbread house template, print it, and cut out the pieces.
- Begin by gluing the outline of the door piece to the bottom and center of the house piece.
- Next, glue the door to the middle of the outline of the door piece.
- Draw the door knob on the right side of the door.
- Color in the peppermint sticks, position them beside the door, and glue them in place.
- Now, glue the roof on top of the gingerbread house.
- Glue the windows above and on both sides of the door.
- Color in the candy decoration and glue it above the door.
- Next, glue the ground snow to the bottom of the house.
- Place the roof snow on top of the roof and glue it down.
- Now, glue the chimney to the top and back of the roof snow.
- Position the chimney snow on the top portion of the chimney and glue it in place.
- Finish off by gluing the candy letters along the roof snow piece.
